Our Story

Neology was born from a shared ambition to break fossil fuel dependency and enable energy systems that are resilient, cost-competitive, and decarbonized.
Founder Aris Maroonian, an engineer shaped by years at Toyota Group in Europe and Japan, envisioned applying the precision of automotive engineering to solve clean energy challenges. His expertise in system design and energy optimization laid the foundation for Neology’s core innovation: turning ammonia into clean, on-demand electricity through hydrogen generation.
During his EMBA at IMD Business School, Aris met Co-founder Ruben Feldman, a sustainable finance expert with a track record in scaling impact-driven startups. Together, they co-founded Neology Hydrogen SA in 2023 to commercialize modular ammonia cracking systems that support grid stability and unlock the full potential of hydrogen — where batteries fall short and diesel must go.
